1. Goals and Targets
Promotion and development of interest to Shinkyokushinkai Karate in Kazakhstan, Formation of the national team of Kazakhstan, Promotion of the healthy lifestyle among young people; Promotion of a competitive spirit and sportsmanship, Forming high moral and physical qualities.
2. Time and Place
28 April 2012, Almaty, Dostyk Sports Complex (48 Abai Av.).
3. Arrangement
The Federation of Shinkyokushinkai Karate by B. Kabulov shall be responsible for the general arrangement and delivery of the Championship.

6. Participants
Teams allowed to the competition: teams from Kazakhstan and other countries accepting rules of the World Karate Organization Shinkyokushinkai. Sportsmen allowed to the competition: qualification 8 kyu or higher, availability of documents confirming sport and style qualification, insurance, medical permit to the competition, permit from parents (juniors and young men/women).
Men shall have: white clean karate dogi (GI), groin protector, belt according to the qualification. Juniors (boys) and young men shall have: hand mitts, foot protectors, white clean karate dogi (GI), head gear, groin protector, belt according to the qualification. Women shall have: white clean karate dogi (GI), breast protection (to be worn under the undershirt), belt according to the qualification. Juniors (girls) and young women shall have: white clean karate dogi (GI), groin protector, hand mitts, foot protectors, head gear, breast protection (to be worn under the undershirt), belt according to the qualification. Men over 35 years old shall have: white clean karate dogi (GI), foot protectors, groin protector, belt according to the qualification.
A sportsman will not be allowed to fight if any of the above is not available. Organizers are not responsible for any injuries got during the Championship. Number of participants is unlimited.
7. Referees and Schedule of Fights
Chief referee: A.S. Kolesnikov (3rd dan). Chief secretary: V. Kim (2nd dan).
Referee teams are formed of the representatives of teams and coaches. A referee shall wear black trousers, blue shirt and white bow tie. A team of referees is formed of referees proposed by teams: one referee from one team. The fights shall be conducted in accordance with WKO rules.
Fights Procedure Juniors, boys and girls: Preliminary fights: 2 min + 1 min + weighing (weight difference: 3 kg; abs. 5 kg), additional time 1 min. Semifinal and final fights: 2 min + 2 min + weighing (weight difference: 3 kg; abs. 5 kg), additional time 1 min.
Junior men and women: Preliminary fights: 2 min + 2 min + weighing (weight difference: 3 kg; abs. 5 kg), additional time 2 min. Semifinal and final fights: 3 min + 2 min + weighing (weight difference: 3 kg; abs. 5 kg), additional time 2 min.
Men: Preliminary fights: 2 min + 2 min +2 min + weighing (weight difference: 5 kg; abs. 10 kg), additional time 2 min. Semifinal and final fights: 3 min + 2 min + 2 min + weighing (weight difference: 5 kg; abs. 10 kg), additional time 2 min.
Women: Preliminary fights: 2 min +2 min + weighing (weight difference: 5 kg; abs. 10 kg), additional time 2 min. Semifinal and final fights: 2 min + 2 min + 2 min + weighing (weight difference: 5 kg; abs. 10 kg), additional time 2 min.
Men over 35: Preliminary fights: 2 min +2 min + weighing (weight difference: 5 kg; abs. 10 kg), additional time 2 min. Semifinal and final fights: 2 min + 2 min + 2 min + weighing (weight difference: 5 kg; abs. 10 kg), additional time 2 min.
8. Terms and Conditions
The Federation of Shinkyokushinkai Karate by B. Kabulov shall be responsible for arrangement and delivery of the Championship, including expenses for the lease of the sports hall, medical expenses during the Championship, advertisement, provision of medals and diplomas, Hotel shall be booked upon advance request, Expenses for the travel, accommodation and messing shall be paid by companies that send sportsmen to the Championship, Championship fee: Juniors (boys and girls, young men and women): 3,000 tenge Men/women: 5,000 tenge. Men over 35: 5,000 tenge.
9. Winners and Award Procedure
Competition will be held as individual championship according to the Olympic system. The beaten sportsmen will be dropped out of the contest, and fight for the 3rd place.
Sportsmen gaining the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places: Juniors (boys and girls), young men and women will be awarded a medal, a diploma and a cup. Men and women will be awarded a cup and presents. Champions and winners may be awarded contest prizes granted by the Championship sponsors. Also, the Championship sponsors will grant contest prizes in three categories: best fighting technique, will-to-win spirit, the shortest fight.
